Not all household waste can be put in your kerbside bins. Community Recycling Centres offer a FREE and EASY solution for the disposal of household problem waste such as:

Paint Gas bottles Fire extinguishers
Motor oils Other oils Car batteries
Household batteries Smoke detectors Fluro globes and tubes

Many of these materials can be reused and recycled if processed correctly. Recycling helps our environment because it saves water, energy and natural resources.

Visit your local Community Recycling Centre today and help build a healthy environment for our future. Each Council has a centre and you should contact them to find the opening hours.

This project is a NSW EPA Waste Less, Recycle More initiative funded from the waste levy.
