RAMROC Riverina Waste Group conduct a series of projects and programs aimed at increasing awareness of issues related to waste creation and disposal. These activities are conducted in schools, at events and broadly across the local community. Our aim is to encourage best practice in waste diversion and disposal.

Some of the current education programs include-

Love Food Hate Waste  – sessions are held at events in towns across the region and are aimed at reducing wastage of food.

Organics Recycling at Home – these session are also popular and aimed at encouraging home composting of organics. The sessions provide practical advice on home composting.

EnviroMentors – this is a schools based education program funded by RAMJO Riverina Waste Group and delivered by highly qualified educators. They are aimed at topics that will ensure primary school students have a high level of awareness about waste, recycling and composting.
